Ira told me to go to the Holdencrazy website and check out the tunes and download them for my truck. I did this and was able to download the file but could not open it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Dave

File opens fine on my system... What problem are you having (downloading or opening)?

I clicked the link and it downloaded and immediately opened in the tune tool. If you still can't get it sorted, pm me your email address and I'll send it to you.

Also - how are you trying to open the file after you download it?

Are you double clicking the file to open?

Or are you opening the tune tool and selecting File -> Open?

I don't know why, but in the past, I've had issues with Window's incorrectly associating a *.tun with the tune tool (this has happened with other applications as well). I would have to spawn the tune tool then File -> Open to read a tune. I fixed it by re-installing EFILive.

I can download it and save it to my documents file but when I try to open it a message comes up that it cant be opened and windows needs to know what program created it. When I try to let windos search the web for the program nothing comes up for me to open it. I did ry to open from your thread and the same thing happened. It did say something about a tun aswell whatever that is.

Thanks for the help guys Dave

From the tunetool go File->Open and browse to the saved file and click OK.

DaveBlownLt1Bird, go that location, and click on Downloads, and download the current release .exe file;
then execute this file to install the scantool/tunetool; then you'll be able to view/modify the tune file.
