I have a 00' TA that use to have an A4 that I have swapped over to a th400, so non of the factory tranny electronics are plugged in. I have turned all the rev limiters and the fuel cutoff up to 7500rpm, but I still seem to have a rev limiter @6500(I think the actual scan said 6638 or something) I do not seem to have this problem in the burnout. Truthfully it only seems to be on the 1-2 shift. but I think after it hits the limiter I shift the 2-3 early. so maybe itsanytime going down the track. Anyway, I can not seem to find anything. is there a speed limiter or something I'm overlooking? A buddy of mine never had this problem but he had swapped from a 6spd. so I was thinking maybe it had something to do with the A4 computer. please help!

Are you using the A4 .tune or did you change to a M6 tune file?

I have seen the same conditions discussed on other forums, and the general consensus is to start with a manual tune.

I'm using an a4 tune file. maybe that is it.
