Thought I'd post a poll to see how many peeps have succesfully completed the AutoVE process on their LS PCM?

I had it all within 1% until the cam install. Now I am back to within 2% in most cells. (New speed limits wont let me get the higher rpm/ map cells)

I've been doing mine, for what seems like, forever. Well, over a year anyway, it never seems to settle down. I get within 1-2% then the next day it would be all out of wake. I switched to a smaller injector, then i lowered the whole table by 20% and everything was back at 1-2%. Weird.

Good to be here, so much good info, just trying to get my head around it all.

Temperature correction is needed to get it to settle. You can play with ECT/IAT blending and even the Baro correction for altitude changes.

I was an EFILive newbie 6 months ago, spent a few months learning then started AutoVE. Took a month off and on to get it, and now I have things very close around 1% in most cells.

One thing I will recommend is the spread sheet (I forget who wrote it) that does the interpolation for you based on a % factor that you chose. Makes it really easy to avoid the spikes that can pop up every so often. I did AutoVE by the book first, then with a 90% factor, 80%, 70%, and 60%. It looks really good now.

I can post it is anyone needs it. It is somewhere on this forum as well.

What if someone has done AutoVE on multiple vehicles (of different types, or of the same type)...?

I don't think I'll ever get done with it. I'm thinking of making a career of it!

Done it quite a few different times on LS1's and again after different mods. Doing it on the street is good but takes a fair while (and you cant hit all load point and is bloody scarey with FI!) but doing it on the dyno saves soooooooo much time!
