ok guys, when i open flashscan (scanning) it is asking me for my Op.... my car is a 2001 trans am ws6 manual.

should I just connect the cables and let it read the car or what?

Just enter the base details and you can get past it. That screen is probably a distant memory for you (it would have been presented the first time you ran the Scan Tool).
