If you log all your values in these units ( or set up an appropriate conversion)

MAFFlow in units of grams/second
RPM as Revolutions Per Minute
Displacement in units of Cubic Inches
MAP in units of KiloPascals
Temp in units of Degrees Centigrade

You can "log" the VE in real time using the following formula

VE = MAFFlow * (Temp + 273.15) / (Displacement * RPM * MAP) * 212544

This will give you your VE in units of percentage.

It has been suggested that these can be converted to "LS1 Edit" units by multiplying them by 30 - so if you multiply the above formula by 30 you should get values that correspond to what's in the VE table in scale.

Have you had any luck trying this formula, evil? Just checking. Is ther a way to get Live to do the math for you? I see you said that you can see your VE, now.
Thanks,

The VE calculated PID, that ChrisB explained has been included in EFILive V6.1.4 so If you have that version (the latest version) then you should be able to just select the {CALC.VE} PID.
It will display VE so long as you also select it's dependant PIDs:
MAP, MAF, RPM and IAT.

If you have any troubles with any calculated PID, right click on the PID (in the [OBDII (F7)] or [Data (F8)] tab pages and select "More info..." to see what the problem might be.
