EFI LIVE & HPTUNERS compatibility?

Has this compatibility problem with EFI LIVE and HPTUNERS being on the same laptop been resolved:



Dear EFILive customers,

It has been brought to our attention that installing HPTuners latest software on PCs or laptops that already have EFILive installed on them will cause the EFILive USB drivers to fail. Reinstalling the EFILive USB drivers will rectify the problem, but in turn will cause HPTuners software to fail.

There are two solutions to this problem.

1. Do not install HPTuners software on any PC or laptop that is currently running EFILive software.

or the preferred solution:

2. Update the FlashScan USB drivers.

the only HP in my house is the sauce...

Was at at a dyno day at their "HQ" (10 mins from my house) a while ago. A mate said "You should run your ute up and log the run.."

Rich Z, the issue was resolved a while ago, it only involved a USB driver update from memory.
