Hi All,
how do you go about setting up the commanded fuel table..B3647?
Is it set as per the Auto VE tutorial and then forgotten about?
Should I be pasting with labels and applying the results to the B3647 table?
I sometimes hit an AFR of 10 or less and I'm not sure why? I never command that rich a setting.
My VE's look pretty good.
Thanks

Start with the tutorial's suggested table. Once you have the VE table withing safe operating limits, it helps to have a driver so you can focus on the scantool. Different setups will pull different vaccum/pressures so you should tailor it to what the vehicle should need/have under various load conditions.
For example, most stockish setups I have logged like to be idling / low load cruising ~40-50 MAP (or even less)- Meaner H/C big cube setups have less vaccum and occupy higher MAP cells at the same conditions.

Thanks Doc,
I noticed also I have A0014 populated.
I guess this should be 1.00 across the board whilst working on the VE's
Also A0008?

The A0008 cells should be "1" by the time you have the vehicle totally warmed up and are working on VE. Prior to warmup/overtemp, tailor the enrichment values.
A0014 is conditional, only logging will tell with your setup. I would set the cell(s) that your vehicle has/uses "Normal Air Temps"(for your setup) to "1".

Thanks Doc.
That's what I've just done....now...more logging! Log 100 so far.

I agree completely with what Doc said. When in Speed density, you'll really need to have your OL ECT Commanded Fuel multiplier set to richen your fuel mixture during warmup. This table is a substitue for the warmup enrichment function found in the B3605 table, which is now replaced with B3647.

Thanks guys...I'm a little lost as to what to do.
I have now taken 101 logs and don't look like I'm really getting anywhere.
Two of those logs were 5-6hr drives and should have provided plenty of data to get the VE tables pretty much inline....or so I thought.
Well, after some reading...and the advice of you guys, this is what I decided to try.
I set A0008 to 1 and A0014 to 1 so there are no temp multipliers in action.
Also noticed my Cylinder volume was set at 716 and after looking through a few other tunes I see that they're set at 713 so I altered mine to suit.
This is what I got.
First tune is the one I just drove home on and log 101 was the result.
Second tune is the result of applying log 101 and smoothing a couple of times.
What do you think?
