I made threee BB logging sessions and everything looks like it worked properly, but when I went to retreive the files there were three.*.efi files (logs) and three files with the same number but .efx extensions. Are these error files or normal files that should be disregarded?

Those are trace files for debugging purposes. You can turn the feature off in the V2 options menu.
