Today I placed my order for a transgo HD2 shift kit and other goodies. I allready have both servos, Soooooooo I have read that you need to disable adaptive shift learning after you install a shift kit, is this true? I read that you zero out your shift times, which disables the learning. I have also read that if you don't it will cause your shifts to soften over time. Has anyone else done this?

Yes, this will prevent the adaptive learning algorithm from detecting that the shifts are firmer due to means other than the algorithm itself, and then trying to soften them.

The shift kit is calibrated to give a firmer shift based on mechanical modification rather than algorithm looking up modified tables.
