Can I install EFI live for XP and 2000 on a Vista laptop and then download the driver upgrade? I've had problems with corruption. If you've done this, can you help? Thanks.

There are no problems running EFILive on Vista, both x86 and x64 versions. I have it on my HP dv9575 with Vista Ultimate x64 with no problems. There are proper x64 bit drivers included, just install Vista then download the EFILive installer and install it. When you plug your FS in it should just find the drivers, otherwise they will be in the Program Files[if 64 bit then Program Files (x86)]\EFILive\V7.5\Drivers\FlashScan\Win-2K-XP-Vista\

No problems on Vista Ultimate here. Downloaded the 7.5.3 code, installed it, installed the USB driver, and all has been good ever since.
