Finally got started yesterday to get all the parts in the motor ... we took it slow, preparing the car to drop the motor out ... pretty much got through most of the preliminary work, removing almost all the wiring from the block (apart the injector wires in the rear), cat-back is off (had to flex off the right side) ...
And got some not so nice surprise ... I knew the A/C was shot due to the gaskets on the A/C compressor being as leaky as a sieve, but also the A/C radiator looked like it had expanded, pushing off the top layer, and the ribs being pushed out at three places ... so a new radiator it is ... :bawl: wonder how hard (read: expensive) it will be to get one here ... :nixweiss:
Oh well ... basically something like 4 big screws left to get the front end out ...
