I'm just getting start working with FFILive V4 software. I'm excited about it capabilities to help troubleshooting. My problem is I can't get any usable ALDL data.
My car is a 1992 Buick Park Avenue Ultra and I'm using the GM163 vehicle definition file because it seems to cover the L67 supercharged engine.
I believe I'm following the correct procedure on the installation of the cable to the ALDL connector, and connecting to the computer after the software is running. I listen for chatter and am able to see what looks like valid data readings. But I can't get much past that point.
I've seen other posts about capturing I/O data and posting it. I'll see if I can get that going tonight. Hopefully, there's only a few nips and tucks needed to get the software to respond properly to the data stream.
I appreciate the help!
