what ecm do i need to run for a 2007 escalade engine 6.2L L92
its gonna be mated to a t56 6 speed tranny and a cable or DBW throttle

can i use the e67 ecm on a 58x reluctor i have 2 e67 ecm's already
and can i use the 90mm NW cable throttle body or do i need to run a DBW throttle body
i also bought the efilive v2 i really need to figure this out:Eyecrazy:

The Escalade L92 is run by an E38 from GM, so that should work (it does have the 58x reluctor).

I think you need to use a DBW tb, but then again they come from GM with a DBW. You might be able to use a cable tb, but Im pretty sure most trucks from GM are DBW now.

Edit: L92s us E38, not E67...:bash: Thanks Ross.

Yeah, you will need the E67 and DBW, because there is no cable throttles on 2007 motors with the 58x crank. None of the GenIV ECM's have idle stepper outputs (to use with a cable throttle).
E38 would be an even better option as that is what the L92 used.

Cheers,
Ross

My E67 has 3 plugs;
C1 BLU is a 56 pin = fuel stuff and Accelerator petal stuff (signals)
C2 BLK is a 73 pin = Engine controls
C3 GRY is a 73 Pin = Bus communications and misc 5v ref

C1 break our for LE5
1-5 N/A
6 CC switch
7 Stop Lapm V
8 N/A
9 Fuel Tank psi low ref
10-11 N/A
12 CEL
13 Fuel Pump Relay
14-17 N/A
18 Acc V
19 Run/Crank Voltage
20 Bat +
21-32 N/A
33 Accel pos 5V ref 1
34 Fuel Tank psi 5V ref
35 Accel pos 5V ref 2
36 Accel pos Low ref 1
37 Accel pos Low ref 2
38-39 N/A
40 Main Relay Coil ctl
41-43 N/A
44 Fuel Level sender
45-46 N/A
47 Accel pos signal 1
48 Fuel tank psi signal
49 Accel pos signal 2
50-52 N/A
53 A/C CRC
54 Highspeed Cooling Fan
55 EVAP vent solenoid
56 Starter Relay

I know it's vehicle specific, but I suspect that most of the stuff is the same for a given app..
Hope this helps.

The E67 is really just an E38 'with the lot', it has more inputs and outputs which is why they use it on the boosted applications. However, as Jason (from Lingenfelter) pointed out to me a while back, the main difference is the E67 still has a ClassII data bus signal, on some platforms (like the CTS-V) they had not changed all modules over to CAN, so they still needed an ECM with the older communications capability.

Ross
