Ive been looking at the tutorial in efi live and I don't understand where you are supposed to wire the two wires you cut from the nb02 sensor, what do you wire them to? I have the plx widband kit. And also on the afr output to the flashscan interface how do you know what side to use for ground and power?

Don't cut anything. Tie the narrow band up out of the way and use the WBO2 exclusively.

Yeah, forget about NBO2's and NBO2 simulation... you won't need either during Auto VE tuning.

Does it matter what side i put the ground wire on into the flashscan interface?

Does this help? Page 104 scan manual. There should also be a sticker/label on the rear of your V2 indicating + & - for each terminal connection.

Ok i got my wide band all set up and i went out and did some logging and every time i step it to the floor or not ever quite that it goes in to reduce engine power and cuts several cylinders and i have to pull over and shut it off for a min or so and then it is ok agian untill i step really hard agian. Got ne ideas why this happens?

Sorry Adam...no idea.
It wasn't doing this before?
Check....double check your wiring.
Are you running open loop...speed density as per the AutoVE tutorial?
Double check the AutoVE tutorial again.

No it wasn't doing this before, i will double check my stuff agian and go through the tutorial agian, but one question, I do leave the old o2 plugged it right but just strap it out of the way?

Yes. I just tied mine up out of the way.
Sounds like you're running in closed loop or something. I imagine that if your NBO2 was reading air/lean....as it would be when removed from the exhaust....the car would go into reduced power.
Maybe Joe can comment on this?

Are you getting any DTC's when it reduces power...?

There are some "rationality test" tables in the engine diagnostics section that have to be increased.

One thing i see i missed somehow is setting the B3313 DFCO temp Enable to 122 It was still on -30. Would that cause it do that? Im getting P0102 codes which were there as soon as i unplugged the maf and a C1278 (tcs) That one is new! Everything else in the tutotial matches up to whats its supposed to be!!

DFCO will just make your commanded AFR not match the measured AFR.

P0102 is ok, it means that the MAF is now being ignored.

C1278... I don't know what that one is...?

C1278 - TCS Temporarily Inhibited By PCM

Sounds like a fluke.

Ok i seemed to get the rep taken care of, i just had to increase the c6101 %80 instead of %40. But i have another question just to make sure i doing this right. When you make the ve calibration changes and save it to the sdautove tune and then reflash it and then make another run to do it agian do you apply the changes to the sdautove file agian or would i start back with the origional ve table i started with?

Keep making the changes to the updated tune as you go.
Don't go back to the original tune.
