What are peoples opinions on racetronix injectors compared to other makes? Thinking of getting some of these:
Delphi/Lucas 42# High Impedence Fuel Injectors
-Static Flow Rate: 42.29 lb/hr @ 43.5PSI
-Static Flow Rate: 48.83 lb/hr @ 58.0PSI

Depends on the cost. I haven't seen that Racetronix injectors are any better, or any worse than those of any other reputable supplier. I can tell you that Bosch injectors are typically spot on (actual fuel flow versus rated fuel flow) and that the Lucas 42s I've used also delivered the proper fuel flow. On the other hand, I once had a set of Delco/MSD 50 pounders that were way off. I only used one set of those, and don't know if I just got a bad set or if there was a bad run of injectors. That was before I could get injectors flow tested, so I can't tell you much more than that. I spent the better part of a day on the dyno trying to get the engine to run properly and it never would. I reinstalled the Lucas 42s and it ran perfectly.

I can get them a lot cheaper from somewhere like thunder racing, than I can in Australia, 1/2 to 2/3 the price, especially with the exchange rate at the moment.

You can buy an injector from many different places outside AUS and NZ where the price is much cheaper and it's the same injector. Actually there is a great margin.

It's the information that you get with the injector is what is going to make the difference for you. Check this out.

Eg: You can buy any injector, but do they supply the battery offset voltage table for that injector.....:)

for injectors i like http://www.deatschwerks.com/catalog/ they got the best prices, every injector is flowed and comes with a flowsheet. and the fact that they sell for prices that normal companies will hand you an unmatched/unflowed set is just a great bonus.

in general tho, i stay away from racetronix. if you want nice and easy 42s, get the greentop svo's, i've put them in more cars than i care to remmember, never a problem with them.
