I have come across a problem with the BB beta logging on E38 pcm. When in pass through I cannot enable any dma pids. I have tried everything and spoke to Steve from Oztrack.

He suggested to update the firmware through C drive to firmware 70 update.

Only problem is I can't update this as I have converted to beta testing. I have firmware update that was released in early January.

Blacky do you have something to encounter this problem. Better still how close is it to the release of dma BBL.

Cheers

Joel

The DMA PIDs should still work in pass through mode even with the new BB logging firmware. If they are not working, please start the log (where they don't work), then after about 5 seconds stop it (if it doesn't stop by itself) and then generate a user error report (menu: File->Generate error report) and send it to me at paul@efilive.com

OK Paul I will check it. The bens are showing up but they are high figures and if I apply them to the VVE table it will give incorrect multiplication.

I have a LM-1 w/b. It has been calibrated on the analogue output.commanded afr at cruise and idle is say 14.7:1 when I go mafless and richen the table a little for safety it ends up at 12.5:1 actual afr at w/b. With the maf connected my tune is very close but it gives me some weird factors. I will sens you an error report and pid list.

Thanks

Joel

For some reason, EFILive is not programming the two E38 DMA PIDs into the ECM. Therefor the ECM does not return valid data for those two PIDs.
Prior to logging, can you please perform the PID validation using menu option: Info->Validate PIDs.
Then make sure the two E38 PIDs are not marked with a red X in their icon on the F8 tab page.
When logging, watch the F12 tab page and make sure ALL PIDs are programmed into the ECM
It should look something like this: (notice the first two PIDs are the E38 DMA PIDs)
