c5 motor mounts

Has anyone had problems with their drivers side header on the c5 corvette hitting the frame. I noticed it when i went to put in my wideband the other day and it has a small dent in it now from that. Any suggestions on what mounts to get to prevent this???

Not familiar with Pacesetter setups, but do know your chice of mounts is limited. Can you mod the stock ones?

I don't how i would modify them, cause they just need to be stiffer so the engine won't twist to the side so much, how would i go about modifing that?

They are often cut and/or modified when Gen 4 motors are retrofit. Not sure where the interference is?

I didn't have to retro fit anything it, i built the motor from a new 6.0 cast iron block and all the dimesions are the same, it was a bolt in deal with no modifications. The header tube that is hitting is the one farthest back on the drivers side.

Do they make poly mounts for C5...?

i have found one aftermaket set so far and they are 350 for a pair, but i can't remember what kind they are, but i do know they were from ecklers.

Fbody guys seem to use the poly but never heard of a Y body user.
Your problem is highly unusual. Have heard of headers hitting the steering shaft but not mm.

vbandp.com sell a poly mount for the C5. Vibration and harshness will increase.
