View Full Version : Correcting MAF Flow issue

Ross/Paul, I attempted to try the MAF correction that Ross posted here (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104799), and it doesn't seem right... It was said that the more you log, it'll average out the cells. Doesn't seem like they're averaging, they seem to be incrementing. Attached is a pic of my table. I don't think it's averaging 2130g/s at idle :Eyecrazy:. Any input?

You are displaying the number of counts the cell was hit, look for an icon that is an 'X' (next to the 'N' icon), press that and you should get real numbers.

Dumb question; Since my truck is running fine the way it is without modifying the MAF expected airflow table, is there any benefit to doing this (better fuel control, better economy, more power, etc)?

I would not think you would gain power / ecomony by fixing it.
