i in stalled the current BBL update and i have
not been able to see WBO2 data.
everything seems to be installed properly.(bootblock, firmware, ect)
i have configured the scan options to connect with flashscan V2.5(hapi),
dragged the config. files to the config tab,
and added the new external WBO2 pids to my pid file.
i then dragged my pid file to the scan tab through efilive explorer.
i select properties of the pid file and
it says it has not been implemented yet.
i have also selected the WBO2 type though the V2 it self with options setup.
everything else is working properly, my RR updates but
with BEN from analog input.
should the V2 automatically detect and record the LC1 data
or do i need to change/select something to connect to the LC1?
thanks

You need to go into the EFILive module's settings menu.
Options -> Setup -> Edit Settings
Scroll down to the COM In and COM Out and change those to Wide-02. Change the W02 Type to Innovate.
Give that a try.

i have done that, to no avail.
my pid file is installed on the scan tab(efilive explorer)
so i assume that the pid file is uploaded to the V2,
yet i get no pids selected from the display data option as well.

Make sure you are not using any of the old *.pmm files form the previous beta release. Only use the new *.pmm files that were included in the March 20th update.
Other than that I can't see anything that would cause the problem you are seeing.

After the logging fails, Select the Scan Tool->Scan Options->Sace Trace File. Then copy the saved trace file and send it to me at paul@efilive.com.
Include a link to this thread so I can correlate the trace file with this thread. Also please send the Options.ini file and the model-year of the vehicle being logged.

i re-downloaded the zip file and re-extracted the folder
in case i had a bad download,re-formatted the V2,
then loaded the .pmm files.
should only .pmm files be uploaded to the V2?
i have 2 .ini files in the config folder that are uploaded.
it displays data just no WBO2 data.
i`m going to get another gender bender to connect my cables,
maybe that is the problem.

What wide band controller are you using?
Can you log the serial port using a serial port monitor as described in the first post of this thread:
http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=7566
(See point 4).

the free serial port monitor shows the port
but the free version can`t record so i can`t post a log.
i can connect the LC1 to my laptop with
my serial to usb bridge with no problem.
i`m pretty sure it is the gender adapter,
for everything else is working properly.(scan+tune+roadrunner)
it is easter sunday and i was unable to find a new adapter
or a cable that could link the V2 and LC1 together.

Any luck on finding an adapter that works? I'm having the exact same problem with my LC-1. I know the port is working, because I was able to program my LC-1, but it is showing up ass "Controller Not Found" when I connect it with the serial connection. I think my problem is also my gender bender.

Can you post a screen shot of what it captures?

this was solved by getting a new NULL MODEM
a regular gender adapter will not work.
i made this more complicated than it needed to be
but i didn`t think it was my adapter because it was new.
i am fairly certain i was using the wrong type of adapter.
sorry for any confusion.

Yeah, you have to have a gender bender and null modem.
Mine is working fine. :cucumber:

ok, i'm now having a similar problem, after doing the update i am getting no controller found and also my wbost1 afr stays on 25.00afr, everything is working perfect in pass through mode but no wideband in BBL, i have checked the settings and both com in/out are set for wideband and the type is selected for PLX which is what i have. Anyone got any ideas?

AFR at 25 is the default value used by EFILive for the serial AFR PIDs when no wide band controller can be found.
Does the left orange LED flash when the PLX is connected? If so then FlashScan is seeing data from the PLX. If not then FlashScan is not seeing any data from the PLX - possibly due to a wiring or config issue.
Please see my post #7 earlier in this thread and try to get a screen shot or log file of the serial data captured from your PLX device.

i think it is seeing something coming from the wideband as it registers the voltage from it on ad1

I should have posted an update. After ordering up an actual null modem adapter, my LC1 can be monitored thru the V2.
Still trying to figure out how to BBL via the serial input...
