what vin do i use the ecm vin or the dash vin

hello
i just did a engine and ecm swap on my 2001 s10 blazer.
just wanted to know wich vin do i use for the efi live programer v2.
do i use the vin thats on the dashboard or is there another vin inside the program of the ecm i just swaped with the engine.
i only have 1 vin left and dont want to mess it up.

The VIN doesn't matter... FlashScan licenses to the PCM serial number.

You would do these steps:
1. full flash the PCM with the right OS,
2. edit the VIN using the scantool,
3. do VATS relink if equiped with VATS.
4. do CASE relearn.

I suppose the order of steps 1. and 2. may be swapped.
