after upgrading all the firmware, copying *. files and getting all that working so i can see the WB, the buttons on the FlashScan are super sensitive. It seems to count as double (some times triple) press. Is this a known issue or am i experiencing something new?

I've done that power cycle (removing USB and pluging it back in). It still has the same issue. Anyone have any ideas?

I would try to reformat the config area, then cycle power, then recopy the config files, makeing sure your dont copy settings.dat (if you have it) from your computer.

that did it! format the config area, copied ONLY the *.pmm files, power cycled the FlashScan, it works correctly now! (well at least that part of it, for now!) thanks a bunch!

You also need to copy options.ini and switch.ini so you can select your engine type and have the option to switch dsp5 tunes (when available);)

C:\Program Files\EFILive\V8\EFILive_Hapi\Config

It should be in the same folder as the options.ini file
