After Windows crashed flashing a new OS, I decided it was time to fire up the table PC I bought for more convenient use at the strip. I downloaded the newest version of EFILive, installed it, fixed the USB drivers, and fired up the tuning tool. It would not run because it could not find calc_pids.txt This rather floored me, because I could SEE it was there. This thing is a bit strange, what with the touch screen and no keyboard, and was configured with Win2K when I bought it and there was no extraneous junk on it, so I didn't mess with it. Apparently it auto logs in as administrator. I did not add an account for me or try to change the existing behavior. (If it ain't broke, don't fix it). So the EFILive install put everything in Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\EFILive\V7.5, but it created a compete set of empty directories in Documents and Settings\Default User\My Documents\EFILive\V.5! Once I copied everything from Admin to Default, EFILive came up. Weird, huh?
