Tuning a 2008 avalanche and this thing is a dog out of the hole. Anyway to get the throttle plate open quicker?

Remove Torque Managament, this has a huge affect on the throttle plate plus it will shift a ton better.

im in the same mess as you dude-ive tried everything and only made it marginally better than stock
i think its just a mechanical thing like camshaft that makes these things pigs down low-or maybe we need some more tables that are holding us back without knowing

You need to log spark timing and also the throttle position and blade (throttle motor) position. Otherwise you are just guessing as to what is holding it back.
If you find the timing is reasonable and the throttle blade is fully open then it's not the tuning that is the problem.
