Please Help I have read everything I possibly could but have no good results with this problem. Attached is a short log as you can see the readings on the dash are all maxed out and the LTFT's are ?The car was not reved passed 3000rpm. The display on the BBL shows correct data log is F-ed.Car is a 2002 LS1. Any thoughts or ideas? Thankx advance for the help.

Nick,

Welcome to the forum... :cheers:

This log was taken with with V2 BBL, right...?

If yes, you could do this:
in the file Options.ini delete all lines containing WO2ST1 or WO2ST1; save file, then copy to V2 using EFILive Explorer;

Or you could update to the latest BBL update (where it's fixed): showthread.php?t=7809 (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=7809)
If you do this, be sure to read thru that thread and read thru ReadMe_First.pdf and make sure you understand what it says.

Cheers,
Joe
:cheers:

P.S. you'll prpbably tell me that you already have the latest BBL update... :doh2:

Nick,

Here's my Options.ini file (attached; remove the ".txt" from the end)...

Save your Options.ini file, send it to me...

then copy the attached Options.ini file to the Config Files tab on your V2 (using EFILive Explorer);
go and log, and see what the uploaded log contains.

The other thing to watch out for is to keep the channel count no bigger than 24;
I checked my Options.ini file and that meets this criteria;
I'm getting good logs from my 2001 LS1.

Cheers,
Joe

What happens at > 24?

Reading slows down, as only a maximum of 24 channels (bytes) can be transmitted per data frame ... therefore, the rate at which you receive information goes down ...

This looks like the log I posted here:
http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=8098

What do you think Joe?

Jomobco,

His log: all pids have consistent incorrect values [and excessive bookmarks] (caused by early beta treating WO2ST1/WO2ST1 incorrectly);

Your log: some pids have intermittent incorrect values;

Oh, I see you logged 29 channels... if you logged using V2 BBL, then that couold be the problem... remove some pids to get the channel count to 24 or less (most pids take 1 channel, some take 2; see scantool PIDs tab for channel counts).

Which V2 BBL revision are you using...?

Cheers,
Joe

Goto the 5/19/2008 update, and reduce the number of channels used by pids in Options.ini.
