I got the software and have been reading on it. But, can some one point me in the right direction??

The 1st thing I want to do it fix the cold start up issue. It will start briefly, then shut down. Ill try and re-start it but it just cranks until I start tapping on the gas pedal. Then, it will start to catch and eventually idle on its own.

I know it WAY rich as I can smell alot of gas after it starts.

What tables do I adjust? I saw the "crank/start" portion under the "fuel" section. Is that where I should start?

This is for a HC LS1, if it makes any difference. Thanks.

WB, welcome top the forum...

You may need to do several things
- recaculate/recalibrate your IFR table,
- AutoVE and/ior AutoMAF tune,
- idle tune.

More info, see What to Tune First: showthread.php?t=7867 (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=7867)

What vehicle/mods do you have...?

Cheers,
Joe

Ill read the link and re-think things. But, its very difficult to read and "try" to understand alot of it. What you just listed, I have no clue what that is or what it does. I just know what the car does and common sense would tell me the "start/crank" portion would be it, but I guess not. lol

I have my tune uploaded on my lap top and now just trying to make sense what everything does and reading the definitions..

I have a 99 Trans Am with 90/90, X3 cam, Dart 205's, FLT Stage V trans with a 4K stall and full bolt ons. also has a 100 wet shot I have been running as well.

So, I am just starting the whole learning process and this cold start issue is pissing me off.

IFR, I am assuming means Injected Fuel Rate?

I have FAST 36# injectors and an adjustable fuel regulator set at 60psi. but, to get my IFR from the excel spread sheet, it asked for the "injector Rated Fuel Pressure" and I cant seem to find that anywhere.
