I know this is a really newbie question.....
Is there a way to just update a few tables without doing a full reflash?
I am working on setting my trans shift points and reflashing everytime I up it 100 rpm seems excessive.
Thanks

You can do a cal only flash (about 30 seconds compared to 2 minutes for a full flash)

I usually only do a cal flash unless I'm changing operating systems or I suspect there's a problem with the cal flash being accepted by the PCM.

I knew there was a way around the full flash. I just never worried about it:doh:
So what icon do I click for a cal flash?

You're lucky you can do a full reflash, still cant on the P10 controller... But only do cal only unless you're changing OSs, doing a patch (like MAF, TC, etc), or there is a problem. :)

Another question. Is it possible to do cal only flashes without using a license?
Say a buddy just wants the shift points moved or TQ mng taken out.

Thats what I figured. No worries. Gonna have to get into the manual for this EFI Live stuff:book: Is there a thread I dont know about that answers silly questions like these? I am still trying to figure out what all the buttons do:redface:

1SH,

Only the 97/98 Corvette/Camaro/Firebird LS1's are free to flash; otherwise it is as Jezza said.

More information:
- tunetool user manual (press F1 from inside TT).
- scantool user manual (press F1 from inside ST).
- miscellaneous stuff: showthread.php?t=2990 (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=2990)
