I have a semi difficult question for anyone. the 97 Tahoe that has the 5.7L engine in it which i believe has the 0441 "black box" computer. i currently have the 2001 s-10 that has the silver 2 (red and blue) connector and am wondering if i can use any map on my pcm so i am able to run my engine. I dont currently own the efilive but am wanting to buy one if i can resolve this problem through you guys. Any help would be great. Thanks

Either EFI live tuning tool will work on your S10. For $200 extra I would opt for the V2. Is your intention to install a 1997 Vortec V8 or V6?

yes, the vortec engine is from a 97 with the poppet style intake. i am just wondering which map i can load into my computer so i can run that style v8. is there an LS program i can run that will accomplish this?

You need to pick up a base Express van tune from '01 or '02 to run that engine with that PCM. Those were the only Vortec 5.7 V8 engines that ran on the '411 PCM.
