LS1 in a Dragster....

I'm putting a 2001 LS1 in a dragster, for the first few times out it will be stock but I have ordered a head/cam package that I'll install once its up and running.

I bought EFI Live and have updated the software in it.

What I was wondering is if anyone had a calibration file that I could get that would get me going as far as tuning goes? Obviously there's no trans and I also bought a vic jr intake and a Holley throttle body so I would need to do away with the MAF and go MAP based.

I do have the FAST dual wideband O2 with RPM module.

Any guidance will be very appreciated, as I need to get this project up and running by next Thursday! And I have limited time to decipher thousands of posts (I'm not lazy!)

Wow ! you have lots of reading to do before thursday :book:

To run Mafless you should load a custom operating system into your PCM,
Prob COS 3 would do the trick. Find the tutorial on how to do this in the download section.

Then you will need to set the tune cal file up for Speed density (mafless) and perform the auto VE process to dial in the VE table.

You will need to turn off VATs to disable the vehicle security- Table G1201 and set to none
or it will only run for a few seconds and then stop.

Where are you at ?
