Maybe I missed it in all the posts, but where are the instructions on how to do things like record and create custom PID lists. I've been playing with BBL for about 3 weeks now, but I can't figure out how to do these things. Can anyone give me any help?

What car do you have...?

The file C:\Program Files\EFILive\V8\EFILive_Hapi\Config\Options.ini defines various pid lists for various vehicles...

You can edit this file (but see my last sentence below)...

You can't define custom pids, but you can define which pids you want to log...

see my Options.ini (attached) for my LS1B (99+ LS1)...
you can see I deleted all the vehicles I do not need...
this means in EFILive Explorer I only need to copy 3 files to the V2 Config Files folder:
- Options.ini
- Switch.ini
- LS1B_A.pmm (99+ LS1 with Auto trans) -> this file depends on your car.

You can delete all other files from the V2 Config Files folder (click on Format first, then copy those 3 files).

You can see I have 4 pid lists; these show up on V2 under "Select PIDs";

When editing the pid lists in Options.ini, keep the channel count to 24 or less...
Open the scantool PIDs tab to get the channel count for each pid.
