I'm wondering how should I go about messing with my VE table. My air to fuel gauge that is directly wired into my O2 sensor says that I"m going rich and I was getting KR, and I got rid of it by playing with the PE table--leaning the PE table out.
I know it says drive around for 50 miles or higher, but I noticed that my LTFT's stayed in the high positives. Should I simply take away a good percentage of the VE table and tune it and drive for a while to see what happens??
I know that I'm rich; so I reckon that I should decrease the VE table and set the PE table to say 12.5 all the way down or something like that?
How do you RESET LTFT's???

I hope this is just a misunderstanding on my part, but...when you say high LTFT's, you don't mean positive do you? If so, you are running lean - not rich - and the PCM is dumping fuel in to compensate with positive LTFT's. Again, I hope I just misunderstood you on that one. 2nd, it sounds like you don't have a wideband.?. If you have an AFR guage hooked up to the stock narrowband O2, that's just a light show and nothing more. It's great for telling you where stoich is, but other than that it's a joke.
Anyway, VE tuning is fairly simple for part throttle with the narrowbands. I disable the MAF, DFCO, and LTFTs. Then, record the average STFTs for as many MAP/RPM cells as I can hit before going into PE/open loop. Then, you take those percentages and multiply them to the appropriate cells in the VE table. You will need to increase your VE prior to that step though with +20 LTFTs. For WOT, you'll need a wideband - no ifs ands or butts about it. Check the how-to's again and make sure you're doing the right things. From first glance, it doesn't sound like you are. And remember, positive trims means you're running lean...negative trims are when you're rich.

In your post you mention that you moved your IFR table up:
...I also adjusted my injectors for the actual 54psi that my fuel pressure is (stock 28.8# injectors).
When I did so the numbers in g/sec went up, from 3.6172 @ 0kPa to 4.0391 @ 0kPa
(using the spreadsheet from RedHardSupra)...
The PCM is being told that the injector flow rate is more,
so the PCM is opening the injectors for less time which is making you lean,
causing PCM to compenstate by positively increasing your LTFT's;
(knocking that you mentioned may be due to running lean like this).

got it solved...thanks guys...I'm in SD mode now
One problem though, I followed the guide on here and how do i hide cells of less than 50 in the BEN factor???
also I got some DTC codes when i first connected efilive flashscan to the car and it was MAF stuff...but I did turn off everything according to the write up TAquickness did I have two yellow DTC maf codes and then two red DTC maf codes on the obd screen (f7)
