I have made a tune change or two now with no problem, but I cannot seem to connect to the scan tool for logging . I connected the obd2 connector, connected the v2,and connected the usb to my computer. Open the scan tool off my desktop andfilled in the info. Got to the connnect to vehicle green button and it says paused at the bottom of the screen . when I close the program , my computer says its not responding.I think I have the latest and greatest drivers cause I just installed them to get the tuneing part to work.
Thanks in advance!!! , Rodney

Try connecting the V2 to your laptop first, wait for the splash screen on the V2 and then, plug in the cord to the car.
If you plug in the V2 to your vehicle first as you described, then to the laptop I believe the V2 will be too "busy" to talk to your laptop.

Thanks for helping Doc. I just tried that and it did not do anything. Still says paused. This is what I did. I am most likely skipping something important. I powered up laptop. plug V2 into laptop usb portThe screen comes up on the V2 with the first selection as "scan the vehicle" . Turn on the key. Plug into the Dlc. Hit the green connect button. Hit the low yellow monitor data button. All this = paused status dashboard gauges on the screen are dead and program is not responding.
Thanks, Rodney

Don't hit the yellow button (ignore it), hit the red button.

There is a bug in the V7.5.3 release that hangs the software when starting to log data if no PIDs are selected.
Make sure you select what PIDs you want to log in the [PIDs (F8)] tab page.
The easiest way is to use the mini toolbar (New, Open, Save, Save as buttons) to open an existing PID selection file that matches your vehicle.

Line thru the pid on the dash/chart means it's not selected on the PIDs tab.
