Anyone use a LM1 hooked to there dyno? I just bought a new 224 dyno and wanted to use one of my LM1's for the WB on it. Any pointers on a clean install?

No one here owns a dynojet dyno and uses a LM1?

Dynojet makes there own AFR equipment and it doesnt have a 0-5v out put. I also just bought the Dynojet 224xLC and i bought the AFR computer.
I think you can not hook up an LM1 with a Dynojet...

They told me I could when I bought my dyno last month. They told me that I had to buy the analog module, so I bought that with the dyno and have it hooked up. The problem is I dont have the stting right for the voltage vs afr. I need to know the scaling for the lm1 as 1.0v - 5afr or whatever. With the analog module you can log alot of things if you scale them correctly in to the software for the dyno.

Have a look in the LM1 programmer software. It will give you the voltage/AFR settings you will need. I have reprogrammed mine to the same as the LC-1 so I cant help.

Now, that I think about it, I think I have my LM1 programmed like a LC1. I have both and use the LC1 pid when tuning.

What are settings for voltage/AFR for LC1?

0.879v at 10:1 AFR
4.215v at 20:1 AFR

I am not really sure if using the LM1 is the best of choices given the A/D Conversion required to run it.

Now,
I have seen the LM1 connected on a dyno locally, so it can be done. Probably via the analog module as said.

The winpep software has provisions for the table and conversion to whatever you need it to be.

Anyways... I still think that the AFR module is the best bet.

did anyone ever figure this out?

Yes. Sell the DynoJet and but a Land and Sea. Worked for me.

You will need to buy the $3,000 wide band from dynojet if you want a/f to be displayed on your dyno sheets. I sold my dynojet dyno and am switching to a mustang dyno most likely.
