I have the iat relay/resistor trick done to try to pull timing when spraying, and by looking at the logs, my iat jumps to 178deg as soon as the noids open, but I get no timing retard??? My timing stays right where the high octance table says?????
Here is the log, and related screen shots from my tune.
Does anyone have any ideas?
BTW, this is an 05 GTO
TIA,
Vinny

To try and trouble shoot that setup, log the two PIDs: GM.EST_IAT_DMA and GM.EST_ECT_DMA. They should show you the contribution to the final spark due to ECT and IAT.

However, I recommend using our custom nitrous operating system which has built in spark and fuel correction tables that allow you to directly control spark and fuel at the flick of a switch wired directly to the PCM. That way you don't have to fool the PCM with bogus values from the IAT sensor.

I'll try logging them, and let you know what I see.

I'd love to use a custom operating system, but I have an LS2, so...
