Hi guys,
Just a heads up. Yesterday I received a recall notice from GM on our 07 LMM 3500. Very vague not even a campaign number attached. But here's what it says.
We have learned that your 2007 model year Chevrolet Silverado, equipped with a 6.6 Duramax Diesel V8 engine, was produced with a programming error that can result in Engine Control Module memory damage and will cause the engine not to crank or start. This is more likely to occur the longer you operate your vehicle.
Then goes on and says they will reprogram the ECM with revised software to remedy the problem.
I hadn't fooled with it (yet)! Probly a good thing. Worst fuel mileage I've ever had with a diesel truck. 8 low and 12.3 highest interstate at 63 mph.
Good luck guys, John:blahblah:
