Now that I live in upstate NY, I have to get BRT inspected :doh2:
I had a nice little tune all set up using COS#3... No MILs, no nothing. I took it to a place that really likes my truck, so the visual inspection was easy.
However, they plugged it in to the NYS inspection software and boom...
Evap reports not ready
O2s report not ready
O2 heaters report not ready
FAIL.
Doh.
So I start poking around. I turn on everything again... Same result. I leave everything on and make a 10 minute drive or so... Same result.
The scanner reports no data from the O2s but I can log voltage from both sets, both banks. I turned on LTFT and STFT again (set the LTFT to 0 min / 0 max), but again no dice. I've been in OLSD mode for years. The truck sat for about 18 months for mods, then I moved it up here and drove it a few months before winter hit, then sat all winter again, but since the reported voltages look right, I don't think the O2s are shot.
The EVAP can is back in and plugged in to the PCM, but is plugged. It still reports not ready.
Any ideas? :help2:
They (inspection station) suggested a nifty little work around idea (and gave me 10 extra days on my brand new plates lol), but if I can get the tune to working, I won't have to bug my buddy :)
