Help flash memory test failed

Hi, I have upgrade the the firmware to 2.04.72 then I'm getting a error when trying to upgrade bootblock
V2 -> upgrade bootblock to V2.5.08 ? no/yes
The flash memory will now be tested ....... no/yes
V2 -> erasing block Block xx of 70 counting from 0 to 70
V2 -> ATTENTION Flash memory test FAILED
return flashscan for repair

Did I missed a step or I have a hardware problem ?
V2 works fine

No, you have not missed a step, the flash memory in your FlashScan V2 has failed. You must return it to EFILive be repaired. It will be covered under warranty regardless of the age of the unit because the flash memory was most likely faulty from day 1.

The V2.04.xx firmware does not use the flash memory so it would never show up as a fault until the V2.05.xx firmware is installed. The flash memory test prevents the upgrade because the upgrade would fail if it was allowed to complete.
