Just want to verify what I belive (upgrading OS)

From what i've read this is what I belive to be true about my stock '00 PCM:

I can upgrade to a newer factory OS by simply copying my calibration values to a stock '02 T/A map.

I cannot upgrade to an EFI Live custom OS without physically changing PCM's.

Is this correct?

I've an 00 PCM and am currently running COS3.

Copy your config onto an O2 Tune
Migrate from new 02 Tune to COS3 (or 5)
No need to swap PCMs out

All works perfectly
