Wouldn't it be easier to simply set your idle timing in the Base Spark P/N table where you want it, and zero out the minimum advance table at the corresponding idle RPM ?
There must be some reasoning why not to do it that way... for something so simple I don't understand the factory logic of adding two values to arrive at base idle spark timing....
I've done a search and don't come up with much for either of these two tables. Maybe I'm missing some other modifiers that factor in other than those two tables for idle timing?
My car is A4 if that plays into it as well...
