I have trashed my manual transmission. I plan to install a 4l60e in its place. While hunting around, I see there are different versions of the 4l60e depending upon year and what they are installed in.
I can get a direct bolt that fits my current specs, but it comes from a 95 model only.
Will my 02/LS1 pcm setup control that old of a transmission? Plugs correct, etc? Or do I need to get a 97/98 model and just make my own crossmember?
