I've had my truck tuned pretty damn good before without a wideband by the guy I got EFIL from but reading the tutorial shows setting up a map when you have a wideband.

Here's where I am. I'm just wondering what I should do here since I don't have a wideband just yet.

"4. Press Ctrl+Enter to open the MAP property editor window.
5. Select the [Data] tab page and check the Selected check box.
6. Select "Base Efficiency Numerator n - XXX" from the Parameter drop down list box, where n is the analog connection (1 or 2) and XXX is the wide band controller."

I don't have an option for Base Efficiency as it appears to be Wideband related.

Thanks

You could do this:
- do everything in the AutoVE tutorial except keep closed loop enabled (B3801, B4205),
- create a BEN calc pid which averages the LTFT's (see below),
- create a BEN map using that BEN calc pid,
- proceed with logging and paste-multiplying.

The BEN calc pid would use the average of the LTFT's as follows:
BEN_LTFT = 1 + (LONGFT1 + LONGFT2)/200

To create a calc pid in the file calc_pids see here:

That's exactly what I was looking for. Needs to be added as a sub section to the write up's cuz the one's i found all required wideband.

Thanks
