How does B5919 Optimal Timing, low and high octane tables work together. The reason why I ask is, because I was looking at some tunes in the holden files, and seen some tunes where the high octane timing is higher then the optimal timing for the same RPM. I know that if the computer picks up KR it will refer back to low octane tables until it comes back to the high octane table. It just seems that the optimal timing should always have most timing of the three tables.

Bump
also, if this is used to calculate eng torque, it should have an effect on transmission shift preasures aswell?

I'm not sure, but I think the PCM uses the Optimal Timing table for reference only and not for setting timing.

Yes, the shift pressures are looked up by TRQENG.
