I was looking over a 2007 Cobalt SS tune file and i found this
Operating system patch
This patch will extend the VE table range up to 255kPa (21PSI).

ok well 255kPa = 36.9psi

so i just thought the conversion was wrong but then i remembered something from my EVO tuning software. it's tuned using engine load, and boost cut just so happens to kick in at 255 which is 21-22PSI.

my question is what is correct and if the 255 refers to engine load is that what we should be using in our MAPs instead of kPa.

3632

or is there a table missing or am i just crazy

Ah, well, pretend you never saw that, it was not supposed to be released yet. You will need additional .calz files to view the different VE correctly. I will post those shortly.

Ross

Just to clear this up. Sorry, but I am going to talk metric here.
100kPa = atmosphere (assume sea level etc).
100kPa to 255kPa is boost. Max of 155kPa (22psi).

Ross
