I've had EFILive for 3 years but never changed the stock tune. I want to start by doing a seat of the pants tune on the WOT PE for this 2002 8.1L. The stock setting range from 0.87 to 0.81 as rpm increases.
I'm guessing I should lower the values to enrichen it? Is that correct.

Thanks.

Hi SHOGOR,

The best thing to do is set the default tunetool air:fuel units to either AFR or EQ...

using Lambda will cause confusion.

EQ = stoich/AFR = 1/Lambda

where stoich is 14.68 or 14.63 depending on your calibration.

EQ is like the fraction richer than stoichiometric... e.g. EQ 1.2 means 20% richer than stoichiometric... in this case you "think" in terms relative to stoichiometric.

Using AFR is what most people do... in this case you "think" in terms of absolute AFR.

Cheers
