First.....I need to recalibrate my injectors.......Can I do that and how?

Second.....I have a limping problem a few months back from the P0101 code. Some fixed one of my tunes with a new release. Im wondering how I can get that release so I can fix the rest of my tunes so I can run my AFE air box.

Recalibrate the Injectors?, are you getting a code or something?

The MAF issue can be done by remapping {B0802} on an LLY, but I can't find that in the current release for LBZ/LMM, what did I do with it??
I'll get back to you on that one....

Cheers,
Ross

Yes Im getting P268C P268D P268E P268F P2690 P2691 P2692 P2693. Thanks for looking and this for a LMM. Talk with a dealership about recalibrating and it sounds like a long drawed out ordeal. I have my orginal ECM that I messed up where it would take a tune. I didnt have a issuse with this one about the incorrect calibration. I was wondering......a guy on Diesel Place told me to send it to him and he might beable fix it. So I was thinking about might be cheaper to see if he can fix it and use this one as a backup.

This can be solved with the V2, it will copy the Injector values from the GPM to the ECM.

I read the link and Im alil confused. F3 then F2 takes me to "Link Options". The F1 option is "Ctrl:" There it dose not give me a "GPM" as stated in the other thread. I only get PCM, ECM, TCM or ECM & TCM. Just wondering where Im getting it wrong in the steps. Thanks.

When was the last time you updated the V2 firmware?, it might be too old and not have that function.

Ross

Well now that BBL is out of beta, I would upgrade to the latest bootblock and firmware.

I looked into the BBL. I didnt see a .ffw file.

You need to read the .pdf included with V8.1.1, it explains how to upgrade the bootblock (must be done before the firmware) and then use EFILive Explorer to program the new v2.5.19 *.efw file. Cant use the old programmer with the latest firmware.

I appercate the help. Id like to learn as much as I can. Guess reading ALL the instructions would be a good start. While I was reading the "Read Me" file and what is "dead poll"? Thanks again.

Its ok man, believe me I had to read the BBL instructions a few times before I started messing with my $749 FlashScan V2. Last thing I wanted to do was mess it up. But now it works perfectly!

I was updating my V2 the other day to BBL. Pressed the F4, F1, F4 and the went throught the steps. Well when I got to the "BootBlock Upgrade In Progress Do Not Interrupt" thats where it stayed. The PDF said the update should only take 5 seconds. Well the two lights where flashing and after an hour I went to sleep. Well when I got up the lights where still flashing and the screen was blank. Now when it is plug to the computer the two lights flash and screen stays blanks. Now what?

You've got the bootblock programmed properly, now open up EFILive Explorer and load the latest firmware.

Yeah I got that part taken care of. I was expecting it to go back to normal, thought it was froze up......I was wrong. Well I have got it all updated and went to recalibrate my injectors. I hit F3, F2 and when I F1 to Read E35 Inject and I get an error($0281). I tried to change to File System to "Internal". I says "Failed Could not save configuration data. Try formatting the CONFIG filesystem. I look all through the V2 for CONFIG filesystem.

Got that last problem figured out. I was able to change that Fle System setting to Internal while the V2 was plugged to the computer and EFILive_Explorer.exe was opened up. Now my injectors are calibrated right.
