I was wondering why after I've logged data, or while i'm logging data the MAP axis does nothing, it also does not work on the the dashboard. I have the PID selected (SAE.MAP). The RPM works, the MAP axis just does nothing. what am I doing wrong? -Thanks PHil

Try both SAE.MAP and GM.MAP... and set their units to kPa.

how does one do that?

Phil,

On the scantool's PIDs tab, doubleclick on a pid to select it;
to find a pid, click on the Caption column heading to sort alphabetically by that column.

On the PIDs tab, put the cursor on the MAP pid and do rightclick->Metric.

Can you post your log file...?

From Main Menu
Edit->Display Units
To add PIDS, go to the PID tab and click on them. They are organized by type.

I didn't bring home the log file, all the relevant pids ARE selected SAE.MAP, GM.BOOSTMAP, all the pids associated with manifold pressure are selected and they show up in the live data stream, however at the main ve table the map never moves, just the RPM.

Sounds like your map might not be setup right. Setup a new map.

Before creating the MAP, go to the tuning tool and select the, TOP LEFT GRID. This will select all. Then rt click on
copy data and labels.

Data: Choose what you are logging.
ROW: RPM, Click PASTE to input RPM values from YOUR table.
COL: MAP, Click PASTE again to input exact MAP values.

Save the MAP and go logging.
