Is there any way to lift the 100 log limit?
What I mean is..when you get to log 0100....it stops counting.
If the number is 0100...why can't it count to 1000...or 9999?

Didnt know there was a limit , I clear my logs once a regularly when I do the backup , just looked and I am on log_1468 at present so there may be a setting in properties you need to change.

You can change the maximum number of frames in the Scan Tool Properties window on the [Logging] tab page.

When loading a log file with more than around 90,000 frames you may not see ALL the data even when you select the "Show All" zoom option. That is because the zoom-out maximum has been reached. You can still scroll the data to reveal the frames to the right.

Thanks Paul,
It's more a case of once I've done 100 logs....if I go to save the next log...it'll try to save it again as log_0100....it won't ever go to log_0101?

Oh I see, in that case it sounds like a bug. I'll look into it.

Seems to work ok here... See screen shot.
How are you trying to save the file? Are you using Auto save and file name templates?

Howard, are you doing Save As or are you doing auto save...?

Hi Joe,
Looking in my 'properties' settings, it's set as auto save.
There are two boxes, both of which are ticked.
'automatically save logged file'
'prompt for file name'.
