i have a 2000 chevy with the vortec 7.4 and i am wondering if a swap to a newer ecm would be a wise choice for maximizing my tuning ability of the motor. expecially seeing how if i keep the truck it will most likely atleast get a cam and some head work. right now i cant fine tune my fuel trim and i dont remember what else right now but there are a few other tables i dont really havethat i believe newer 01' and up ecms have. i have read one another forum that you can do a ecm swap with a piece of another wiring harness to make everything work.
