Hi kmidkiff,

Welcome to the forum...

What year/model was the donor vehicle, and how much of it did you transplant...?

The LS1 came from a 2001 Camaro, i am using a painfull (i mean painless wiring Harness) and the stock ECU. The truck is basically a show truck sponsored by Professional Products. It dosent have to make a lot of power but it does have to move around on its own power. I will not be able to dyno this vehicle because the suspension system will not allow us to strap it down. So basically i need to delete the MAF, Create a Idle, Base, and Mid range tune. If this is at all possible.

Thanks

ok, helps a bit. Also, how is your speedo hooked up? Is it still all electric, or did you get a combo electric/cable setup?

1. You will need to turn anti-theft off, G1201
2. I would advise to try and get your speedo stuff close. It affects several things(shiftpoints, cracker and follower, etc).
3. Under C6001.. Turn P0101, P0102, P0103 to "C"
4. Under C6002.. Turn same options to "NO MIL".
5. There will be many other options you will want to turn off under them to charts(6001/6002) like rear o2 sensors, purge system, etc.
6. Since you are a mostly stock setup, I doubt you will have to worry to much about idle learn or changing the ve. But I would give them a quick glance over.

BTW, I wouldnt mind seeing some pics of the project. Have a 67 c10 here :)

Thanks for the support, The trucks not in my posession yet but will be in two days. i will get all the speedo info then. Im just getting ready for it. Ill post some pics on Monday. The truck has won numerous shows in texas and is getting a 9 page spread in truckin magazine next month. the car had a carbureated small block in it until we drew in some sponsors and they wanted the LS1. Not so bad just a little bit of a learning curve

Thanks again
