View Full Version : 2nd vehicle scan capability?

A guy asked me to "scan" his vehicle and see if the logs looked ok. Can I do this with my FlashScan V2 or will I have to use up a "slot" to do it?

you can scan all you want. (supported vehicles)
flashing takes the license slots.

You can also read out his tune and look at it too with out using a license. As mr. prick said, you are only required to use a license when you actually try to flash in a new tune to the PCM and it will ask you if you are sure you permanently want to attach that PCM to your cable via a license. :)
