Why is it when I went from the single race tune on my truck, to the dsp5 race tune, it lost a ton of power??

There should be no reason for that apart from whatever tune you have it switched to is not a duplicate of your race tune.

Make sure your race tune is on the Main calibration side of the tune and not on DSP1-4.
